Siemens Digital Industries Software

During the summer going into my third year at Miami, I worked as an academic marketing intern for the Global Academic Team at Siemens Digital Industries Software in Milford, OH.

While at Siemens I wrote for the Academic News Blog, reporting on academic partnerships and events. I also aided with the Academia 4.0 Social Media campaign for LinkedIn and Twitter. Amongst my digital work, I also helped to develop an academic ambassador program along with my team to create more awareness of our academic partnerships with universities and organizations.

I had the privilege to attend the annual Realize Live 2019 conference and interviewed multiple executives, including the CEO of Siemens PLM , Tony Hemmelgarn, professors, students, and customers in order to publish visual content about the connection between Siemens PLM Software and academic partnerships.

He developed a crash course for students to learn and apply Siemens software on practical examples and hands-on application. Listen to Hannah Straub’s interview with Parikshit to learn how his crash course in Siemens software helps engineering students get a leg up in their studies and work.
